To celebrate the most gourmet time of year, Jérôme Banctel, Executive Chef of the Michelin two-star restaurant Le Gabriel, along with Head Pastry Chef Adrien Salavert, are unveiling their two exclusive creations specially designed to enchant your festive table.

A LIMITED-EDITION YULE LOG MASTERPIECE «Les contes de Noël» Christmas tales

Always on the lookout for fresh ideas, Adrien Salavert loves to stroll around the Duc de Morny library in search of inspiration. The impressive collection of antique books made him want to pay tribute to this very special place at La Réserve Paris with a trompe-l’oeil yule log composed of three ‘volumes’. This 2019 edition features the hotel’s iconic colors, golden Cordoba leather, red lacquer and dark wood. Three volumes for two tales of different flavors. The cover of the first all-chocolate book opens to reveal the beautiful handwritten vision of the Christmas spirit according to the Head Pastry Chef of La Réserve Paris – Hotel and Spa.

A ROYAL CROWN FOR THE TRADITIONAL GALETTE DES ROIS FOR 2020

The coronation of kings and queens takes things up a notch this year, with an unexpected cake literally taking the shape of a crown in volume. A spectacular effect at dessert time... For this new recipe, the Head Pastry Chef of La Réserve Paris has chosen to combine vanilla with candied chestnuts, a nod to the majestic chestnut trees lining Avenue Gabriel , just in front of the hotel. A visual delight that also pampers the taste buds. This year, it once again harbors the iconic elephant-shaped figurine in a nod to the emblem of La Réserve. Collectors take note!
