Oenology Master Classes

Passionate about oenology, Michel Reybier, founder of the La Réserve establishments, owns several wine estates in Bordeaux, Hungary and Champagne. Strongly committed to the quality of his restaurants' cellars, Michel Reybier also enjoys sharing his discoveries. The two new Master Classes organized this fall with the help of Aurélien Gil-Artagnan, Head Sommelier of La Réserve Paris – Hotel and Spa, are an excellent demonstration of this keen interest.

COS D'ESTOURNEL
Master Class – Thursday 17 October 2019 – 8pm

Cos d'Estounel's geographical and geological configuration offers an incredible combination of soils and exposures, resulting in a great diversity of terroirs, an outstanding asset. The style of Cos d'Estournel fully expresses the wealth of this variety, one of the world’s most famous wines. Estelle Sementery, the Estate expert, will be with us to present these multiple nuances with a tasting of six wines in the intimate setting of the Duc de Morny Library.
This Oenology Master Class will be followed by a four-sequence seasonal food and wine pairing dinner from 9pm onwards at La Pagode de Cos Restaurant. Gathered around a single table, 14 privileged guests will thus be able to continue the experience accompanied by Estelle Sementery and the Chef Sommelier of La Réserve Paris, Aurélien Gil-Artagnan.
Master Class: 220 euros per person

ETIENNE CALSAC CHAMPAGNE
Master Class – Thursday 12 December 2019 – 8pm

A passionate winegrower, Etienne Calsac demonstrates all the richness of his various exclusive vintages grown on just 2.80 hectares. This master of Chardonnay has created a style of white champagne that is one of the most beautiful of its generation. Endowed with a great love of the terroir, Etienne is a true spokesman for the environment and sustainable viticulture. A tasting of six of his wines will take place in the intimate setting of the Duc de Morny Library.
