Passionate about oenology, Michel Reybier, founder of the La Réserve establishments, owns several wine estates in Bordeaux, Hungary and Champagne. Strongly committed to the quality of his restaurants' cellars, Michel Reybier also enjoys sharing his discoveries. The pairing dinner and Master Class organized this spring with the help of Aurélien Gil-Artagnan, Head Sommelier of La Réserve Paris – Hotel and Spa, are an excellent demonstration of this keen interest.

Artfully orchestrated by Chef Jérôme Banctel of Michelin two-starred restaurant, Le Gabriel and by Chef Sommelier of La Réserve Paris, Aurélien Gil-Artagnan, the dishes composing this prestigious five course dinner are a perfect match for the Billecart-Salmon champagnes with which they are paired. Starting with an aperitif, the event will take place in the elegant setting of La Réserve Paris – Hotel and Spa’s gourmet restaurant, with the rare treat of having Alexandre Bader, General Manager of Billecart-Salmon, in attendance. Lovers of refined bubbles will have the pleasure of successively tasting the following champagnes: "Brut rosé" Billecart-Salmont, La cuvée surprise d'Alexandre Bader, "Cuvée Nicolas François Billecart" 2006, "Cuvée Louis" 2006, "Cuvée Elisabeth rosé" 2007, ending with "Brut Sous Bois" Billecart-Salmon.

Thursday 6 June 2019 – 8pm

This time, it's Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie in the spotlight, with an evening dedicated to an estate that has been emblematic of the Rhône Valley for three generations. All the secrets of these wines, characterized by their finesse and harmony, can be discussed at a tasting of six wines in the intimate setting of the Duc de Morny library, attended by Christine Vernay, winemaker of the estate. This Oenology Master Class will be followed by a four-sequence seasonal food and wine pairing dinner from 9pm onwards at La Pagode de Cos Restaurant. Gathered around a single table, 14 privileged guests will thus be able to continue the experience accompanied by Christine Vernay and the Chef Sommelier of La Réserve Paris, Aurélien Gil-Artagnan.
