The eagerly awaited Leonardo da Vinci exhibition in the Louvre is set to be the season’s stellar event. The museum with the largest collection of paintings by the artist simply had to celebrate the 500th anniversary of his death in due style. The exhibition stems from more than ten years of work and will provide an opportunity to admire major restored works and to find out more about the mysterious life of the legendary master
In 1516, when he took up residence in France at the Château de Clos Lucé, King Francis 1st told him “Here, you will be free to dream, think and work”. Guests of La Réserve Paris will be able to enjoy the same experience, thanks to the uniquely inspirational setting of the urban mansion at 42 Avenue Gabriel. What finer address from which to set off for an encounter with the greatest painter, sculptor, visionary inventor, architect, scientist and philosopher of all time?
