The Pastry Chef at La Réserve Paris is unveiling a unique and playful chocolate creation: a Signature Easter Egg that is as precious as it is irresistible. This year, Jordan Talbot revels in recreating a dessert from his childhood in Brittany: the Paris-Brest, with its braided design and sculptural silhouette.
Beneath a dark Peruvian chocolate shell with remarkable aromatic depth lie tender Madagascar vanilla marshmallows coated in chocolate.

The top and base of this Signature Egg consist of precious bars reminiscent of the crispiness of the Paris-Brest choux pastry, containing a Valencia almond praline studded with cocoa nibs. Caramelized nibs add a delicate crunchy texture, while creamy salted caramel with roasted vanilla prolongs this adventure in taste with infinite deliciousness.

At teatime, the Pastry Chef will present a trilogy of pastries to be enjoyed as the ultimate indulgence. The delights begin with his version of Paris-Brest, where toasted vanilla meets the depth of cocoa nibs: an emotional interpretation of the Signature Egg containing a wonderfully creamy center.

Next comes the freshness of a Lemon Basil Tart, a subtle combination of a melt-in-the-mouth cream infused with basil and a tangy foam, light as a spring breeze. The experience ends with intensely fragrant truffles, featuring almond praline, crispy puffed rice, caramel and a black rice wafer. A final touch that is as tempting as it is contrasting.
To complete this ritual, the team at Bar Le Gaspard has created an exclusive cocktail in the form of an Easter Martini. An enticing marriage in which Hennessy VS Cognac blends perfectly with Chef Talbot’s Grande Réserve chocolate, enhanced with Frangelico and Grand Marnier.
