Michel Reybier Literary Prize
AUTHOR JAKUTA ALIKAVAZOVIC HONORED FOR LE LONDRES-LOUXOR
This year, the prize was awarded to Jakuta Alikavazovic for her book Le Londres-Louxor, published in 2010. Attended by Mr and Mrs Michel Reybier, the ceremony was held on 5 November at La Réserve Paris, in the splendid Library with its collection of over 3,000 antique books. In addition, the Literary Choice distinction rewarded Les ingénieurs du chaos by Emilio da Empoli.
Created in 2021 through the patronage of the Sciences Po Writer-in-Residence Chair, this Literary Prize is fully aligned with Michel Reybier’s vision of hospitality’s future. Michel Reybier is deeply attached to the French language and firmly committed to defending culture along with the humanist ideals it represents. Above all, he wishes to encourage the transmission of these values to new generations. The prize therefore also enables authors to share their experience with students, guiding them along the path of writing as well as honing their critical faculties.
